It's unclear how many people live in Jakarta.
Books say 10 million but people here say 15 to 18 million.
I know it's a lot of people and motorbikes everywhere!
Combine this with a temperature of 35 'C and a lot of different fumes coming from all direction and you have Jakarta.
The day I arrived it was a Muslim holiday called Hari Adah. This is a holiday where people offer goats and cows. It's unbelievable how many little temporary stalls where made to supply these people with goats and cows. This also brought three days of non-stop eating and going to eating appointments. What a time to arrive, I think I all ready gained 3 kilo's!
But for now it's enough and tomorrow I'm off to Medan (North Sumatra) which is totally the opposite direction of my original plan, but there is a very interesting project I want to attend.
Finally I'm going to record this country again, I can't wait!!
Stay tuned!
Nice! Keep the updates coming!
